What This Archive Contains

SG Recycle Archive is an independent local information archive that documents recycling infrastructure, e-waste management regulations, and waste reduction policy in Singapore. Content is derived from publicly available government publications, NEA disclosures, statutory instruments, and operator reports.

Scope and Focus

The archive covers three primary areas within Singapore's waste management landscape:

  • E-waste management — the Extended Producer Responsibility framework, collection infrastructure operated by ALBA, and regulatory updates under the Resource Sustainability Act
  • Household recycling — the National Recycling Programme, blue bin guidelines, contamination data, and emerging initiatives like the 2026 Tiong Bahru pilot and the Beverage Container Return Scheme
  • Regulatory context — the Zero Waste Masterplan, Semakau Landfill projections, and policy documents from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE)
